YouTube announced on its official blog that on Sunday, May 1st, at 1:00am ET / 9:00am CET, people across the globe will be able to witness the event on YouTube’s Live browse page. The Vatican created its own channel to celebrate the late pontiff, which consists of videos that document his pontificate.
The live stream of Pope John Paul II’s Beatification will be available on YouTube’s Live browse page at (www.youtube.com/live), a YouTube channel created specifically by the Vatican to celebrate the pontiff (www.youtube.com/johnpaul2).
When the stream has ended, the entire ceremony will be uploaded on www.youtube.com/johnpaul2, giving both those who missed the beatification, and those who saw it, a chance to witness the ceremony on YouTube.
