Keep your fingers crossed

5:00am
I can't believe I didn't post this last evening, but there was so much discussion and hope (and a Lightning game on) that I didn't even think of this blog,

Peter went on a job interview yesterday afternoon. Oh, let's see, I don't want to bore everyone with details, but the bottom line is he'd be working in Sarasota. I know the project is new roadway construction (translation: clearing trees, and as the say, making dust fly) and I think it's connecting 2 existing roads (I don't know how many miles apart). Project is sked to end April 2011.

Peter got a phone call yesterday morning from a VP of Construction Services that he used to work with most recently. Interview was at 2pm. He got home at 5. (The company's Tampa office is 6 miles from condo.) At 5:45pm he got a phone call that the 2 of them would meet for lunch today in Sarasota at 12:30pm. Attendees would additionally include the current Project Engineer, whose last day is next Friday, and the client. If client likes what he sees, Peter's got it.

Please, please, keep your fingers crossed.
