2 for 1

I had some errands to run this morning (got nails & toes done, then grocery shopping).

When I was at grocery store this past weekend, they had this product on sale 2-for-1. I've used it before, and like it, and I add frozen green beans and frozen broccolli to it. There's 2 servings per packet, so it works out well.
But .... the products did not ring up as 2-for-1 at the cash register. Even though the sale price was still at the product display in the aisle.

The cashier left her station and she and I walked over to the aisle with the items in it. (Can you believe this?) I pointed to the product, and the advertised sign, and she said: "Oh, the Sides Plus aren't on sale, only the Sides."

Puh-lease. As we were walking back to her register, I told her how I jazzed up the rice and how good it was, blah blah blah.

She said, "oh you know what, honey, I'll go ahead and make the 2nd charge go away. You can have them 2-for-1".

How cool is that?
