5:00amIt was a great weather day yesterday for the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk. One of our friends is a survivor and several members of TampaBayVettes walked for her.
We walked downtown to start point at St. Pete Times Forum then proceeded for 3.5 mile down Bayshore Boulevard then back. Once the return route had reached the river, we bailed and just came home. Hell, we had already walked one additional mile (to get there) and we had a mile walk home.
One of the girls said "oh don't leave, we're all going dancing at the Forum". I thought to myself "dancing???? hell, I can barely even walk. ha!"
Anyway, it was fun and more importantly it was the first full day of cool weather. Last night I was able to wear a long sleeved sweater, jeans, knee high socks, and real shoes. OMG, what a concept!
