Here's ideas of how to wear a scarf, from the same magazine. 

So I tried the idea that's 2nd from left.

Granted, it's not pure white. And it's not angora.  And it's not made by my favorite niece.  But, heh, not bad for my first try at making do with what I have.

I think I'll wear one of my scarves wrapped like this when we go out tonight.
Of course, changing from the sweatshirt, too.
