My brother, Rich, just sent me this in an email. While some may think it's funny, I think it's true.
It reminds me, many years ago, shortly after we moved into the home we had built in Orlando. I don't know what possessed us to host a baby shower for one of the girls in Peter's field office, but we did. I guess I figured "how difficult could it be, just have everyone bring something".
I went to Target and bought all kinds of baby decorations, centerpiece, blah blah blah. Went online to look up games to play at baby showers. I went to alot of effort. At least for me it was.
Everything was going along smoothly until one of the single guys, who loves to cook, walked in with some kind of stuffed mushroom caps and told me that it needed to be heated up.
Me: OK, no problem, I'll just zap 'em in the microwave.
Tony (the guy): Microwave? Oh, no, these need to be baked.
Me: Baked??? In the oven???
Tony: Sure.
Me: Ohmygosh, I'm going to have to take the packing tape off the racks. And open the instruction book. I don't even know how to turn that thing on.
Tony, as he looked at Peter: Oh, your wife is so funny.
Peter: No, Tony, it's not a joke. She doesn't know how to work that oven.
Ha!
