Snowbirds

Overheard today, from a Rhode Island man, who is now in Florida for the winter.

He didn't get something he felt entitled to, and just kept repeating "that's not fair".

It was on the tip of my tongue to say:  "Really?  You want to talk about not fair.  You breeze down here in November, you miss entirely the heat, humidity, and hurricane season, and you expect everything to go your way?"

My advice to you:  If you're not here for the summers, you don't deserve the winters.
