3:30 a.m.
I woke up at 2:30a and listened to the sounds of silence for a bit. The a/c running and the whirl of the ceiling fan. (or is it whirr?) I love this time of day. Both males are in deep slumber, they're both like bears in hibernation. Have to strain to even hear their breathing.
Very comforting.
Now that I'm awake, I guess I'll go upstairs to shower.Then start a load of laundry.
Oh, I gave up on Burden of Proof. I jumped to the last 40 pages last night, skimmed them, same cast of characters were still there (minus one), and confirmed that I'm glad I didn't plod through it.
My aunt sent down a series of James Patterson books, and I'll start with First To Die. It comes highly recommended.
