Peter got home around 7:00pm. Because it was an absolute gorgeous day today, I asked if instead of eating at home that we go to Giordano's and eat outside.
Easy sell.
I called to order the pizza before we left at 7:15, got to Giordano's and immediately had a couple of Blue Moons, pizza came at, say 7:45p.
At 8:00pm I asked if they'd please put on the Rays game instead of college football (Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M).
At 8:10p the TVs still hadn't been changed to the Rays game.
I mean, what does it take for this town to get behind their team???? Last night they gave away 20,000 free tickets for their last home game of the season.
Could you imagine being in any restaurant in Boston, with the RedSox playing, and the game not being on?
I don't think so.
