Continuation of school bus saga

Anyone who has been following this blog is aware of my attempts to effectively get the full school buses to stop at a stop sign outside the condo.

After futile efforts of contacting the Transportation Department of the district, I'm going to try contacting the School Board.  At first I thought of contacting the chairman, but I'll give my district representative a chance first.  Maybe inviting her over for morning coffee on the balcony will get results.

So ... how do I make contact?  Hmm ... check the web.  Below is script directly from the website:

HOW TO CONTACT SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS

School board members do not keep regular office hours, butare accessible and can be contacted via e-mail, phone, or regular letter.  They are also available to speak to groups and organizations.  The main school board office phone number is (813) 272-4045 and the fax number is (813) 272-4022.  To e-mail a board member – or all board members at one time – click here.

I read and reread it and wondered "geez, I wonder what butare means?"  I mean, I know I don't have a college degree and this must be some high falutin' word that I don't know.  I even looked it up, to no avail, on dictionary.com.  No results.

Then I realized it's a typo.  Should be:  but are.

And these people are teaching our future?????

Way to go.
