Peter came home around 6:50pm and we made it to Giordano's just in time to catch the top of the 1st of the RedSox @ Rays game. RedSox were winning 1-0 at that point, so it was very good reception.
We ordered a small stuffed shrimp pizza, since we were in the mood to try something different. Split a chopped Greek salad and had one slice each of pizza. Leftovers on Sunday night for sure!
While we were at Giordano's, looking at all the Chicago memorabilia, Peter noticed a sign that said Giordano's was established 1974 and he was surprised it had only been around since then. I said that on our next trip to Chicago (not that there's one planned), we're going to make it a pizza tour each night. Consisting of: Lou Malnati's, Pizzeria Uno, Gino's East, and Connie's. All my favs.
All day long I've had a hankering for banana cream pie, so we stopped at Village Inn (or was it Perkins ... whatever) and split a slice of banana cream pie. Yum.
