Last evening

8:15am
Last night consisted of running a few errands after dinner.

Peter needed access to his Nextel phone's voicemail, and the IT person at his shop told him to go to a Sprint/Nextel store and have them clear the previous passcode. While we were there, I looked around at the customers and the hired help. And then I couldn't believe my eyes. One of the technicians looked just like my cousin, Tim.

Isn't that funny? I just saw Tim's professional landscaping website yesterday, with a quite handsome picture of him, and then I saw a look-alike that same evening. I was going nutz!

We then went to Office Depot for a carrying case for the new company-issued laptop. And (I couldn't believe my ears when I heard this) frames for Peter's college degree from Univ of Houston and also his Florida professional engineer registration. I was shocked, as he never ever wanted these in his office space before, they've always been in an envelope on a shelf.

I asked him what prompted this, and he said that the others guys have theirs. Blah blah blah. I guess it's one of those "When in Rome" type things.

He's also going to hang the award he received for his section of Suncoast Parkway.

The idea of framing the registrations for states of Washington, Virginia and Georgia were nixed. He wants to keep it strictly Florida related.

While checking out, I had the frames and he had the laptop case. The clerk only rang one frame. I hesitated, and quickly thought "hmmm", but then I pointed out to her that there were indeed two frames. Awww.
