I've got the Winner

I had a fantastic response for the Giveaway due to your help posting it on your blogs. I just love the Giveaway process and got a bit better at it this time. It could have been because it was during the holiday and I had time to keep up with the entries as they came in. There were 73 entries in total. The entries came from Latvia, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, USA, UK, Malaysia, New Zealand and of course, Australia. Some of you didn't have a blog, but I still entered you in the draw. I feel that if it is good enough for you to drop by and comment, it is good enough for me to enter you. I hope you might go on to start blogging in the near future. I wish all of you could be a winner, but I'm sorry I could only pick one. Here is how I picked the winner...!

I copied and pasted all the names and URLs as I received them into a Word document. I put numbers, names and URLs on the list so I could keep track of them all. I'm glad I did that because this could have turned out to be a full time job if I didn't do it that way. I then printed the document and cut each entry into a strip as you can see in the above picture.
I didn't use the electronic randomizer because I couldn't save a copy and re-enter it as the entries come in so I did it the old fashioned way, but I promise you that I did it as fair as possible. Because I still haven't put away the stocking, I thought I would use it for the draw. DH was happy to draw a winner for me. So here is the WINNER: Nina of Mrs Moen blog from Norway. Congratulations Nina...! Thanks for taking part and please contact me privately. I would like to invite you to visit Nina and see her quilts and other interesting creations she produces.
I've been blogging for only a year and this is my second Giveaway. I've learned a lot this time round. Thanks everyone for taking part and helping to spread the word. To the new followers I just want to let you know that I have signed up as your follower in return. If you are a new blogger like I consider myself to be, I totally recommended that you try the giveaway as an introduction for your blogs.
