This morning we went to St. Pete Beach for a Southeastern Guide Dog event, called Puppy Picassos. For a $5 donation the puppies in training will used their tails to paint original works of art. I chose Hurley, and here's his work of art. Note his autograph (paw print) at bottom in the center.
We stopped for breakfast at Denny's (there was a 2-for-1 coupon in the paper, how could I resist?) and the waitress was in awe of my Sudoku book. As she brought the food, she asked if I could give her any hints, and I said "sure, but let me eat breakfast first".
She sat on my side of the counter and I gave her the few hints that I use, and I really think I helped her. She was intently listening, and concentrating, and it made me kinda laugh as I thought back to when I was first learning. Oh, how patient my teacher(s) of Sudoku were with me.
Her co-workers were watching & listening, too. One of them commented "Oh, I know how to do that, but I can never get it". Well .... if you know how to do it, you'd be able to complete it.
