We had a nice weekend. Uneventful, but nice.

We met for dinner at Ruby Tuesday in Riverview. It's on Peter's way home up from Miami and located oh, about 15-20 miles from downtown Tampa.

Saturday we went to see both moms. Visited Dorothy in the assisted living facility, she is not happy there. She has a pity party every time we're there, complaining about everything. We finally told her like it is - she's not in any pain, bathed every day, sheets are changed every day, there is no smell of anything in the hallways or anywhere in that facility. She said the other day they waited 2 hours for their meals. Well .... when they go to the dining room 2 hours before mealtime, yeah - they're going to have to wait.

She does fabricate some stories, but we just blow it off.

Then went to visit mom. Went to Publix to do her grocery shopping and pick up her prescriptions. Unfortunately only one (of the two) was ready, they were waiting to hear from doctor's office. Mom said she told Publix on Thursday morning that the doctor's office was closed on Friday afternoons. So they had all day Thurs and 1/2 day on Friday to get that prescription filled. But ....

Quiet evening at home on Saturday night, watched baseball.

This morning we went grocery shopping here (geez, I've had my share of Publix, haven't I? ha!), had lunch at the condo, watched the RedSox get knocked out of the playoffs, then went in separate vehicles to Smokey Bones in Brandon. Then Peter headed south on I-75 and I headed north.

Ho hum.
