The medicine is working

I feel 98% better. My eye is almost completely open now. I'm taking the eyedrops like clockwork and I did not wake up during the night either tearing or in pain. In fact I didn't wake up during the night at all. So that's good.

Next eye doctor appointment is Tuesday @ 9:30am for a follow-up. I can't wear my contacts until he gives me the OK.

I told the doctor that I didn't have prescription sunglasses and I couldn't possibly go till next Tuesday with no sunglasses. You should see what his office gave me. Roll-up sunglasses. ha! They fit across my nose and adhere to my temples, and then I put my regular glasses over them. Granted, I look like an alien but I don't care. They work. And that's all that matters.
