All homecoming slots are filled

It's down to the wire, but we got the 2 final homecoming slots filled today.

For those of you that don't know, TampaBayVettes supplies vehicles to 6 local high schools (at $15 per car) for the homecoming court to be escorted on the track around the football field during halftime. All monies that we collect are donated to charity at the end of year. We arrive at the schools before 6:30pm, game starts at 7:30pm, we watch the game till halftime then we drive (3-4 m.p.h.) the candidates past the crowd. We start at one end zone, drive past the home crowd, past the other end zone and stop at the 50 yard line of visitors where the candidates are met by their escorts.

It's always so much fun and the girls are always so excited. I have a red furry throw rug that I put on the top of our car so that the sequins of the gown don't scratch the paint.
