Liverpool (26-27 July 2008)

Today we are going to Liverpool for 2 days 1 night trip. This time Soke Yee does not go with us as she goes to Northen Ireland. Walking out from our flat at 5 something in the morning. The sky is already bright. While waiting for the time of departure, we have our breakfast beside the railway.
After our breakfast, we start taking picture while waiting for the time to pass.

Kah Wai's 'bao bei' is here with us to Liverpool.

This is a 2-hour journey train ride. Before all of us have our sleep, we take picture again in the train. This is my first time to ride on a train.

After few hours of ride, we finally arrive at Liverpool. While waiting Gavin to come, we talke picture at the train station.

We met Gavin who stay in Liverpool. He take us around during the trip. He is our tour guide. We go to his flat to put down our luggage. Then we go to Amfield Stadium with his friends. This is the place where Sok Ling wanna go. On the way going to the stadium, after taking the bus, we see many shit along the way. We have to walk carefully and avoid the shit. Everywhere is shit.

This is the Amfield Stadium in Liverpool. There are a lot of people there since it is the weekend.


While waiting for Sok Ling for the museum tour, Rebecca, Pik Kay, Kah Wai and me busy taking picture outside and inside the souvenirs shop.




Pik Kay is happy and delight when she see Torres posters in the stadium.



After buying souvenirs from the shop, we go explore the area around the stadium. Using the map we have, we walk to a park. although the scene there is quite nice, there are shits on the ground and sometimes we may smell something 'special' along the walk.

As for our lunch, we eat at cafe 53. The are variety of food and it tastes nice.

We have visited some of the places in Liverpool. They are Beatles Story and Chinatown.

While waiting for the others to come out from the Beatles Story, I have taken some of the picture.


Dinner time...

The next day we have visited some famous places. Such as Bluecoat, Mathew Street, Cavern Club, St George's Hall and Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King and Liverpool Cathedral.

After visiting the above places, it's time for us to go back Sheffield. Before that, we take a picture with Gavin.

On the way back home, we all fall asleep except Rebecca. It's been a long and tiring trip. However, I'm enjoy it.
