Official Royal Wedding Full Programme Information for Public Download

According to the timings stated in the document, the general congregation will start to arrive at the Great North Door of Westminster Abbey at 8:15am, 29th April, 2011. At 9:50am, the Governors-General and Prime Ministers of Realm Countries, the Diplomatic Corps, and other distinguished guests arrive at the Abbey.



The groom and bride will leave for the Westminster Abbey at 10:38am and 10:58am, respectively. The service will commence at 11:00am. The Marriage Service will be relayed by audio speakers along the Route. The Carriage Procession of the Bride and Bridegroom with a Captain’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, followed by The Queen’s Procession with a Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, leaves Westminster Abbey and arrives at Buckingham Palace at 12:30pm.

As part of an aerial salute to the new couple, a special RAF fly-by will occur overhead at 1:30pm after the Queen and the Bride and Bridegroom, together with their Families, appear on the Balcony at the palace at 1:25pm.

Among the celebs are David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John, singer Joss Stone, director (and Madonna ex) Guy Ritchie, Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson (a friend of Prince Charles), Mario Testino, the photographer who snapped the couple's official engagement photos and Australian Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe.

In total, about 1,900 people have been invited to the service at Westminster Abbey, with 650 invited to a lunchtime reception at Buckingham Palace given by Queen Elizabeth II, and about 300 asked to attend the dinner at Buckingham Palace given by Prince Charles.
