Newest Kapuso hunk actor Mikael Daez has joined the cast as one of the leading men alongside with Tom Rodriguez and Aljur Abrenica.
Mikael replaces Paulo Avelino who declined the role due to health reasons, as what was revealed by his manager Leo Dominguez.
"Because @mepauloavelino fell ill and is still recuperating, he had no choice but to give up his leading man role in 'temptation island'.:(" Dominguez posted on Twitter.
Paulo was advised by his doctor to rest after he was diagnosed with pneumonia.
