Who is Matthew Williamson? He's an English fashion designer whose designs I quite like because they are exclusive yet wearable. And moreover, most of his collections have an Indian influence which interested me further! What I loved from his S/S 2011 collection were the earthen colours; a very muted colour palette inspired by an urban runway girl who ends up shipwrecked on a desert island. A combination of military and tribal motifs, garnished with the occasional sequinned shoulder. Oh and, I love how the collection presented clothes for different body type, rather than just your waif-thin prototype. Tight clothing was never a personal favourite of mine. :)

On the same note, Serena Van Der Woodsen from the CW's hit drama, Gossip Girl wears a lot of Matthew Williamson. I totally love her style!
