AJ Perez' Cornea To Be Donated To Fatima Soriano

Tthe official statement of ABS-CBN that was sent by Mr. Bong Osorio, the station's Head of Corporate Communications:

"Kapamilya talent AJ Perez passed away early this morning after being rushed to a hospital in Tarlac. Together with his father, 2 road managers, a driver and an event marshal, they met a vehicular accident on their way back to Manila after a provincial show. ABS-CBN sympathizes with AJ's family on his untimely demise, and urges everyone to pray for the eternal repose of AJ's soul and for the family and loved ones he left behind"

The Family of AJ decided to donate the young actor's cornea to miracle child and blind singer Fatima Soriano.

Fatima, 17 and born on the same year AJ was born, happens to be Boy Abunda's guest in "The Bottomline" past midnight last night, exactly the same time when AJ met an accident and died.

Mr. Gerardo Perez, father of AJ, through his deceased son's twitter account(@ajperez17), said that the young actor's wake and public viewing will be held at La Salle Greenhills Chapel starting today, April 17, until Tuesday afternoon, April 19.
