Big, designer sunglasses were all the rage during the Summer of 2009.We've kickstarted 2011 and the ladies are still hanging on to their big ol' shades. Letting go is vital for improvement, my dear ladies. This year presents us with the return of the Cat Eye. I relish to see that! They were huge in the '50s and '60s. My sources also tell me that Matrix eyewear will be big this year, from the movies The Matrix: 1, 2 & 3. Errr, not a big fan. But I'm quite looking forward to seeing 'Lennon specs' takeover the eyeware department. For those who have them, lucky you! For everyone else...hurry and find yourself a pair, knockoff OR original. :) All in all, this year is retro. Dig into dad's old boxes titled 'useless junk', who knows, they might turn out to be treasure troves. Try to vary it out, rather than playing it safe with your wayfarers. Don't look to Posh Spice for advice, it's always oversized glares for her. For sun glass role models, cue Lady Gaga and Kanye West. If retro doesn't suit you, I'm sorry to say it's going to be a long year, babe. Chloé have come out with a lovely collection of retro yet stylish and wearable.
