Conversation overheard at dinner tonight, between 2 people, who were obviously friends (a guy and a girl):

Guy:  Yeah, I just finished up a pipe laying job.
Girl:  That's cool.  Where?
Guy:  Key West.  Oh man, it's great down there.  I felt like Jimmy Buffett.
Girl:  Wow, that's great.  Did you know that Key West is closer to Cuba than it is to the United States?

I was sitting on the barstool next to her and I couldn't believe my ears.  Excuse me, honey, Key West IS part of the United States.
