Function after work tonight

So there was a company function after work tonight.  Cocktail hour 6-7pm, then dinner afterwards.  I sat with 3 girls that I barely knew but, heh, that never stopped anyone, right?


One of the girls was a vegetarian and commented that she had no problem with people that wear leather shoes, or wear suede or fur.

Really?

So what was she saying???   Because it's rather chilly tonight, I wore my black knee high leather boots, my suede coat, and my coyote cuffs.  Did she notice?  Or was that just pure coincidence?  Whatever.

Afterwards one of the girls and I were in the elevator, with a customer.  She and I chatted:  do you have far to drive?
Her:  No, just up to Wesley Chapel.  How about you?
Me:  No, downtown Tampa.
Her:  Oh, you really don't have far to go.
Guy standing in corner of elevator:  I live in Indian Rocks Beach.

What?  Who invited you into the conversation?  Ha!
