We talked about her children. Son recently graduated Univ of FL and is participating in a 1-year masters degree program in Washington, DC. Her daughter is in med school.
We covered a variety of topics during the course of the evening. Mostly men vs. women. Oh my, we could have gone on and on. ha!
We talked abut one of the club members brought a girl to one of the functions. Debbi was in the ladies room when she walked in. Debbi started to chat with her about her date (club member) and the girl said "Oh, yeah, he's nice."
And both Debbi and I said, at the same time, "but it wasn't an OHMYGOD reaction". Then we both agreed that it was not a mouth opened, eyebrows raised, open palm beating over heart response.
And neither one of us has seen the girl since. Oh well.
As I was backing the vehicle into the parking space at the condo, "Chicago" by Frank Sinatra came on the radio. Perfect timing.
