I'm giving up on the new book, too

I'm quitting at page 14.  It's not grabbing my attention, and here's another list of words that I don't know the meaning of.

• equanimity
• permutations
• balustrade
• abraded
• proles

Forget this.  I'm spending more time writing down words I don't know than reading the book.  On to the next one.  ha!
