NIce celebration dinner last night

I met Peter in Riverview last night.  We had a nice celebration dinner (those of you that know me will get an email with the news).  I got there a few minutes before him and chose a barstool that was dead center to the main TV broadcasting ESPN.  It was easy to make a selection, because even though the restaurant had a good crowd, the bar was completely open.  Rare.

I ordered my beer, watched the door for Peter, saw him come in, walked to the door to greet him, and said "I reserved the entire bar especially for us."

I love using that expression.  And I love hearing it, too.  It always makes the other person feel special.  And produces a nice smile and a little laugh.

Nothing wrong with that!

Afterwards we stopped for a few drinks, then decided to swing by Hard Rock Casino and play some numbers on the roulette.  Peter did very well with his numbers.  Let's just say that he walked out with 4x the amount he walked in with.  Sweet.

Got home just in time to see the last two batters in the Home Run Derby.  The best guy won - Big Papi.  First time a RedSox ever won it.  Yay.
